The charts and quotes should work on the majority of platforms and browsers. However there may be a number of reasons why the applets on these pages might not work:

• On slow connections, the first time you run the charts it may take a little bit of time before the applet appears. If you are using a modem this might be the problem.
• The JVM (the Java Virtual Machine) installed on your machine may not be compatible with the chart and quote applets. Microsoft change the JVM in certain releases of their browsers. (Some versions of XP does not even come with the JVM). There is help for users at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/evaluation/news/jre.asp. Sun's Java Software can be found at: http://www.java.com/
• Other possibilities include your browser security settings, firewall issues or problems with your ISP.
